Welcome to Affair Weather Kennel! Whether you call them weiner dogs, doxies, or Dachshunds, they are a very unique breed, and excellent companion. They are a memeber of the hound group, and were originally bred to hunt badgers and small game animals. Dachshunds are "Courageous" and you will find they are not affraid of much. Please do some research if you are not familiar with the breed. I will gladly discuss with you the pro's and cons of having a Dachshund.

We are very proud of our breeding program here a Affair Weather Kennel, and our puppies show it! The puppies we have are all very special to us, and they will always have a home here with us for life if for some reason the new parents are unable to keep there puppy.

Our AKC Registered Miniature Dachshunds come in all three coats: Smooth, Long Hair and Wire hair; and we have the most colors and patterns including: Chocolate, Chocolate Cream, Piebald, Brindle, Dapple and English Cream. Make sure you come back often to see our new additions.

Affair Weather Kennel first began raising AKC Registered Miniature Dachshunds with the philosophy of "Quality not Quantity". All Litters are born in the house with my personal attendance at each birth. This helps to ensure the health of both the pup and the dam. All puppies are handled extensively from birth, and are well socialized. We continue to strive to improve the breed by breeding "The Best to the Best", taking into consideration each individual dog's strong and weak points. Matching him or her to the best possible mate in order to have puppies that are superior to either parent.

We will never sell to pet stores or brokers. All of our dogs come with a 2 year health quarantee and AKC Registered paperwork
